I’ve been pondering lately the dilemma of delusion. I wrote something very short on the topic yesterday and posted it here – About God: Somebody is going to be wrong.
But the issue of the armed forces and police forces have come up in my thinking. I understand lots of people join the army because they can’t think of anything else to do, or they’re after the subsidies. But the rest are what? Delusional? Delusion-ed, fooled…taken on a propaganda ride?

I read your article about god from yesterday, then I saw what you wrote today. When I first looked at todays, I noticed you used the word delusion. I think these following words are for the most part interchangable; delusion, beliefs, and ideologies. In your examples, I see your two, and raise you. What do you think the people are thinking at the Nalco Plant in Sugar Land Texas; are they saying that the orange stuff is great and they are proud, or are they saying that they are messing up the Gulf worse than the oil but they “have families to feed”. after all, they would never talk to their friends about such matter because they will not look favorably on them and they would loose the benefits from that relationship. Or is ideologies and politics simply describing our state of behavior; as in misbehaving. Could this all be traced down to responsibility.
But if you are asking to what lengths one will go to, what capacity for denial despite all reason; well I believe that there is no “big” event that will jar this person back to reality.
what I have been thinking lately is this. What would it take for a man to get a group to stop misbehaving and come to my side and give it a try. Would it not work to just show others what we are building and if it is better than what they have, then they would come over to our side of responibility because it suits them (they benefit). Is this not the root to ideology, we misbehave because it offers the greatest prize. So what if the prize was bigger than that; would they come. I see this as man’s weakness, that he is cowardly, what he will do to be liked by his coworkers and friends. But this can be a good thing because he will go where it is easiest and best for him. And if the world is a better place, our responsible world; then why would he not set aside god, the army, the chemical plant, the lawyer, the oil-man, and all those others and there are many.
I got to see footage of the gulf from the shore to the rig. The pilot said that there was not a single spot that did not have a oil sheen, the color purple, orange, and black in it. I saw pods of dying dolphins; all while the news speaks of Mel Gibson and the often plugs for their reality shows.
I feel that the people of the coast will be confronting their buddies who work for the oil industry. I bet the fishermen are also forced to shake their ideologies for a breath of air. I bet the government are afraid of this awakening. But for the most part today, all the people here believe the news, and think the world is great. And if not, then god meant it this way. I just wish Jesus would come back down, so he may tell these hypocrites what jesus meant in his words. I think he would select people who do not go to church, I bet he chooses non believers because they seem to behave better. Probably poor, non believers.

I would say yes, for the majority. But who has something that’s working? Also, how will ‘enough others’ see it? B. Fuller said he would make things people could use and see that there were better ways of doing things. How many geodesic houses are there? Jacque Fresco and the Zeitgeist Group have solutions. How many people have joined?
I’d join with the people who make the the crop circles. They’ve got skills, and knowledge…and possibly wisdom. There is a lot of psychology involved in why we do, think and feel, what we do. Much of which is explained in this controlling the masses video.…How many have got to see it?
I set up a place to asked questions of people who might have answers at the Extraterrestrial Communication Network. So far….Nothing. Nary a peep….
Tolstoy said it, J.Krishnamurti said it, lots of people have tried to tell the “humans” what’s going on….and…I don’t know buddy. More and more I think it’s just the effect of the Galactic cycle.
