The reason I stick with the same old step routine that is suggested in AA is because it works. I recently mentioned I had discovered a deeper level ( I guess that’s a good way to word it) of fear. Some program running unseen below the surface that effected my everyday life. Was it a big deal? It was pretty easy not to notice it. I noticed it because I choose to pay real close attention to every thought, mood, feeling and reaction I have and then find out where they came from. Where they came from, what they effect and is it doing me any good.
This is like the next phase in the getting rid of old ideas routine. For me it just goes on and on. Nothing wrong with it. All ideas will get old and might need to be revised as we learn more. They’re just ideas. I don’t have ideas and thoughts that whack me out to hard now days. I just sort of notice them and look at them. There is a great benefit in asking anything that exists to point us in the right direction as far as a solution. So I saw it. Looked at it for a week or so. Didn’t even really know what it was. I kept at it and then identified it. Told every body about it and then ask to have it removed.
I never get stuff removed immediately. I just get to notice it – then I can make a decision on what to do based on better data. Not just reacting based on an emotional spike. It’s worked out so far. As I continue along I naturally form a new mental habit. The energy frequency changes. Here’s something that I’ve never heard anybody say before – Fear will scare you. If we react to fear and follow where it leads – it always leads us to more fear. It escalates. Any way, I broke my website and I have to go put it back together. I’m on day four of putting it back together so I’m not at this blog very often. I’ll certainly respond to a comment or a post in the forum. We do know there is a forum right.
